Palm Wax is made from Palm Oil which has a bad rep because of deforestation issues in countries where the industry is not controlled. Our Palm Wax is sourced from members of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil which means it is from plantations that have not contributed to deforestation.

Why use Palm Wax at all? Well palm wax is an ideal material for making candles. It burns clean, it resists melting in Australias hot summer heat, it contracts when setting making it easy to remove from moulds. It holds colours and fragrances extremely well and of course, it is 100% natural and renewable when sourced from responsible suppliers.
